Notice of Upcoming PCORI Funding Announcement

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) intends to issue a PCORI Funding Announcement (PFA) seeking to fund high-quality, patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER) projects that focus on interventions to improve patient-centered outcomes for individuals living with acute and/or chronic pain.

This preannouncement provides potential applicants additional time to identify collaborators; obtain patient and stakeholder input on potential studies; and develop responsive, high-quality proposals. The PFA and associated materials will be released early on Oct. 8, 2024, to allow applicants additional time to review the materials and prepare Letters of Intent; however, PCORI Online will not open until Dec. 3, 2024.
