Duke Chapel Tour and Organ Demonstration (Free for all attendees) 

Starting at 6:30pm one of the Chapel docents will provide a brief introduction and historical background tour from the Chapel’s Narthex (front entrance). This will be followed by a demonstration of impressive music by the Chapel organists playing from four outstanding pipe organs within Duke Chapel from 7 - 8pm. 

Tentatively we will arrange to have a shuttle bus that will take attendees from Washington Duke Inn to the Chapel @6:15pm, with a return trip to Washington Duke Inn and other Durham hotels around 8pm. (note this is still being worked out) 

Note: We can’t really tour around the Chapel because there are renovations ongoing, so the “tour” will be conducted as a description from the Narthex (entrance vestibule) of the Chapel.
