The deadline for abstract submission for presentation at the 66th Annual Scientific Meeting is Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11:59 pm HST.
While submitting your abstract, you may also indicate if you'd like your abstract(s) considered for the 2024 Harold G. Wolff Lecture Award and/or the 2024 Early Career Lecture Award. Authors will receive acknowledgment of receipt of abstracts via email and notification regarding acceptance on or about March 30, 2024. Accepted abstracts will be published in the journal Headache®.
Abstract topics can be submitted in these categories:
Preclinical Science: Your study does not include human data
Clinical Presentation/Diagnosis: Your study's main finding concerns diagnosis, misdiagnosis, or unusual cases
Epidemiology and Health Outcomes: Your study uses survey / validated scale data or assesses a disease in a population (such as a hospital or group of clinics)
Translational Research: Human data where the main findings are based on imaging (including biomarkers/biosignatures), neurophysiology (such as evoked potentials), or molecular changes (such as protein changes, molecular biomarkers, or ‘omics)
Headache Education: Your study assesses headache knowledge or involves methods to improve headache knowledge
Therapeutics: Your study focuses on human studies of headache treatments or on the pharmacology of headache treatments
Other: Your study doesn't fit in the listed categories
When submitting, you can select either an "Industry" or "Non-Industry" submission:
Non-Industry Submissions: Neither the authors on the submission nor the funding for the study come from an industry group (i.e., pharmaceutical or device manufacturer).
Industry Submissions: If any authors work for an industry group (i.e., pharmaceutical or device manufacturer), please select this option. This is essential to help us comply with CME guidelines.
