CAPS Conference 2026 Decolonising Pain

We are excited to announce the Critical Approaches to Pain Scholarship (CAPS) Research Network Conference on Decolonising Pain, taking place 24–26 September 2026 at the University of Manchester, UK and online. The conference brings together an international community of critical pain scholars working to advance equity in chronic pain research, and is co-sponsored with the Social Sciences in Endometriosis Network (SEEN).

Thursday (24 September) will feature an evening in-person reception, with the main conference days taking place on Friday and Saturday (25–26 September). Please note that the Thursday evening reception is open to in-person attendees only and has limited capacity. If you would like to reserve your spot at the reception, you can do so via the order form while purchasing your ticket.
