SPARC Seminar Series: Elevating your Research’s Impact and Visibility with ORCID and DataCite

On Feb 10, during International Love Data Week, we're pairing up with DataCite and ORCiD to provide a practical workshop on elevating your research's impact. I'm going to show how adding your ORCiD when publicly publishing data on the SPARC Portal (which includes a DOI generated by DataCite). We will show how these tools work, what problems they solve, and how they can be implemented to automatically connect researchers with their research outputs, reduce manual effort, and improve metadata quality.
