Title: Pain in the gut: navigating -omics options for microbiome studies
Short talk description: I will discuss (1) the various sequencing approaches that can be used to characterize bacterial communities in stool and low biomass samples (e.g., urine, vaginal lavage), (2) how we have used targeted and untargeted metabolomic approaches to analyze stool contents, and (3) how we have integrated human spatial transcriptomic data into our pre-clinical workflow.
