ABOUT THE EVENT

The USASP Pain Epidemiology SIG will have its next meeting on January 28, 2026 from 1-2pm EST. This meeting with feature a speaker, Dr. Richard L. Nahin, Ph.D., M.P.H. Chief, Epidemiology Program, Division of Intramural Research, National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), who will present on "How much does the US adult public pay for pain management?". Dr. Nahin will be presenting the design of an ongoing study examining the economic burden of pain management among U.S. adults.     On 9/12/2025, NIH issued guidance on the transition to this new system and noted that a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) would be released before the system is implemented. One goal of this meeting is to brainstorm questions that we will share with NIH prior to the release of the FAQ.
